Hide Your IP Address

What is an IP address? Well in layman terms, an IP address is the unique address, shown in numbers and assigned to a particular computer connected to the Internet from there, the location of the user can be traced each time he or she browses the Internet. Each cybercafe or Internet Service provider has its own IP address

There are instances you might want to hide your IP address because Nigeria is banned or is not accepted . This is perculiar in some cases where you need to purchase stuff from the Internet and your billing address is U.S. (if you are using Graphcard), fill in online surveys, visit online forums etc, or in some cases if you are using MTN like me which has only one IP address, (which is bad) some moron would have caused the IP to be banned (as seen if you want to access warriors forum), you would need to cloak your IP.

In such instance when you need to hide your IP , it is best to first check your IP address and then hide it . Below are 2 steps:

1. Check Your IP address: Use any of these recomended service:

http://www.ip-adress.com

http://whatismyipaddress.com/

http://www.ip-adress.com/ipaddresstolocation/

2. To change your I address use any of the following methods:

i) Install on your Browser:

If you are using Firefox, you can use an add-on in the toolbar. Just go to Tools on your Firefox browser and click on addons. From the search box type in IP. A list of services would come up. I chose Foxyproxy. Instead of IP you can choose type in Foxyproxy. Once you do that, just click install and the service is installed on your firefox browser.

ii) Download and Install on your computer

iii) Type url directly on your browser include:

1. www.freeproxyserver.net
2. www.indirectconnection.com

With any of the 2 service above, you donot download or install anything, just type in your web address of what you are trying to hide into the search box of any of these recomended sites
